William Morris Designs Trellis PrintOne of Morris's famous designs, created in 1896 as a block printed wallpaper for Compton Hall near Wolverhampton. Trellis was the first wallpaper designed by William Morris and was based on the roses growing on trellises in Morris's first house, the Red House. The birds were designed by Morris's friend, Philip Webb (1831 1915), who designed Red House. The fabric is suitable for upholstery use, curtains, or general furnishings.
