Power African Wood MaskDistinguished by tall horns, this mask is inspired by the artistic customs of northern Ghana. In most communities, horns on a headdress denote power. Victor Addo Biney hand carves the mask from sese wood and decorates it with elaborate details embossed in aluminum and painted with watercolors.
